How can I achieve better definition and hold for my curls?Updated 8 months ago
A question we get often! The key to acheiving definition and hold and (1) Always start with clean hair and scalp (2) knowing in wihch order to apply products and (3) making sure your curls are soaking wet when applying our styling products; as all of the active ingredients in our products are activated by water. Finally, (4) choose a styling techique that works best for your curl type and desired results.
We highly recommend layering products from heaviest to lightest in weight, which is typically creams > primer > gel > foaming mousse > serum
Creams - Use creams when your goal is to increase and extend moisture, frizz control, detangling curls, conditioning curls, and increasing shine. Great for all curl types. Ideal for curl density of low-mid, to high.
